Summer is heating up

Today's update brings exciting new changes to CS:GO! Introducing the eSports 2014 Summer Case, along with updates to gameplay, maps, and Operation Breakout. It's been just over a week since Operation Breakout launched, and players have been exploring the new maps. We've analyzed the data and discovered some interesting trends.

In terms of overall playtime, Black Gold and Castle have emerged as the most popular maps. However, in competitive matchmaking, Insertion has taken the lead, accumulating over 32 years of playtime so far. It's fascinating to see how players are embracing these new maps.

We have also compared the balance of the new maps to some well-known ones. Even with just a week's worth of data, it is clear that Mist and Overgrown are the most balanced maps in Operation Breakout. They slightly favor either the T or CT side, offering a fair playing field for both teams.

The community map makers have been actively listening to your feedback since the start of Operation Breakout. They have been swift in making adjustments based on your suggestions. So, keep playing and make sure to let them know what you think!
