Private Matchmaking Queues are now available, allowing you to create a private Premier match on Valve servers. Simply generate a Queue Code and share it with your friends. Alternatively, you can select one of your Steam Groups and play exclusively with other members of that group.

In Competitive Matchmaking, you now have the option to select your preferred match duration. Choose between Short (MR 16), Long (MR 30), or No Preference. Additionally, new options have been added to the Deathmatch game mode. You can now select Classic Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch (first team to 100 kills wins), or Free-for-all Deathmatch (where all players are enemies).

Several changes have been made to gameplay. Grenades can now be dropped just like weapons, providing more strategic options. The vision after death has been reduced from 3.0 seconds to 2.0 seconds, and the vision after a headshot has been reduced from 1.0 second to 0.5 seconds. The Deagle has received a reduction in body damage, while the M4A1-S has increased body damage. The price of Dual Elites has been reduced to $300, and players now receive a health-shot after three kills.

Exciting new maps have been added to official matchmaking. County is now available in Danger Zone game mode, while Basalt and Insertion II can be played in Competitive, Casual, and Deathmatch game modes. Ravine and Extraction have been added to Wingman game mode. However, some maps are no longer available in official matchmaking, including Grind, Mocha, Pitstop, Calavera, and Frostbite.

Specific map changes have also been made. Dust2 has received a slight visibility tweak from T spawn through mid, as well as improved visibility into B back site from upper tunnels. Inferno now has a solid gate at the top of banana and a revised 1v1 layout, along with minor bug fixes. Ancient has increased the size of the plantable area in both bombsites, fixed bullet penetration on plywood surfaces, and added 1v1 arenas. These changes aim to enhance your gaming experience and provide a more balanced gameplay.
